People Commit to Change

After each gathering, participants actually make a resolution to change some behavior or do something proactive to live the faith. In addition, group members carry a Commitment Card that acts as a constant reminder to pray and be a model of Christian virtue. This is a key reminder to become a stronger Christian! This is the piece that most people forget.

Christian Life began several years ago by a group of youth and adults who loved the Catholic Church and who wanted to effectively pass on the faith to other young people and foster vocations. The program has evolved over time based upon the needs of young people.

Christian Life groups are informal gatherings of young people who meet regularly to learn about and grow in love with their Catholic faith through gospel reflections, peer-to-peer discussions, guest speakers, movie reviews and evenings of reflection. They may choose to spread their faith together through missions and apostolic action. Groups may be upper high school (ages 16-18) or college (ages 18-25) and may be single gender or coed. Adult mentors guide and support the groups.
