What is the role of the CL Facilitator?

In many CL Groups, especially those that are just beginning, the roles of the Leader and Facilitator are performed by the same person. As the group grows and matures, it becomes necessary to assign each role to a different person.

The Facilitator is the person responsible for leading a CL Group meeting. This person prepares for the meeting or mission, does the necessary research, leads the discussion, encourages participation, and collects feedback from the members. The Facilitator role can be shared among several within the group if the interest is high. There should be only one Group Leader, however, for each CL Group.
